Invite-Only Access

ALCÔVE is accessible by invitation only. Accounts may only be created with a valid invitation from an existing member. We reserve the right to revoke access or invitations at our discretion.

The Nature of the Service

ALCÔVE is a platform that allows members to share, lend, borrow, and give away personal wardrobe items within their private network of trusted connections. ALCÔVE is not a party to any transaction or exchange between members. We do not own, inspect, guarantee, or take responsibility for any item shared, borrowed, or given through the platform.

Exchanges Between Members Are At Your Own Risk

All exchanges of items between members are arranged directly between those members. ALCÔVE is not responsible for the condition, authenticity, cleanliness, safety, value, return, loss, theft, or damage of any item. Any disputes regarding items, returns, damage, or non-return are solely between the members involved. ALCÔVE has no obligation to mediate, resolve, compensate, or intervene in any dispute, though we may choose to assist at our sole discretion.

Member Responsibilities

You agree to treat borrowed items with care, return items in the condition received and by the agreed date, accurately describe items you share, honour the intent you assign to your items, communicate honestly with your connections, and not use the platform for any illegal purpose or to sell counterfeit goods.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use ALCÔVE to harass, abuse, or harm others, list stolen or counterfeit items, misrepresent items or yourself, attempt to access closets or data you are not connected to, scrape or extract data from the platform, or circumvent the invite-only access controls.

Content You Provide

You retain ownership of the photos and descriptions you upload. By uploading content you grant ALCÔVE a license to display, store, and use that content to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you share.

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, for conduct that harms other members or the platform, or at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers

ALCÔVE is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet your expectations.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALCÔVE and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss, damage, theft, or non-return of items exchanged between members, arising from your use of the platform.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
